Part III - The Bodiless, is the 3rd Cavern Deep album, as well as the 3rd album and final album in Cavern Deeps concept album trilogy that started with the bands debut self-titled album. 

The album is the most grand and expansive album in the series so far. It features Marty from Slomatics as the vocalist of the title track “The Bodiless”, and Martin Ludl on saxophone playing on the track “Moskstraumen”.

The vinyl is a 140g 12" with a black sleeve and an insert. A Bandcamp code is included and the vinyl is delivered in a protective sleeve. 

The concept synopsis is as follows:

The Bodiless
The transformation is complete. It enters the ungodly realm through the pulse, now without physical form. A shimmering image of nerves, energy, and vibrant rage moves through starless space. The bodiless is greeted by the never-ending hordes of shapeless beings, awoken for the sole purpose of ending its journey. They will all perish.

Queen Womb
Traveling between nodes of passage, covering the vast distances of void, the queen rises. Its children disintegrated, now itself decaying. Facing the bodiless with the desperation of a grieving mother, it unleashes a spewing tidal wave of pure hatred. It is futile. The struggle is short. All that remains is an empty husk. A floating dead mass.

Putrid Sentry
Enter the looming watcher of the outer rims, the putrid one. Bestower of unfathomable grief. The commander of a million shapeless minions now gone. It spreads its dark, suffocating energy across the vastness, like a mighty bellow. It wants to consume all. The bodiless seeps into its veins like a lethal promise, soon rendering its deadly cloak pierced and useless, shattered throughout dead space.

Moskstraumen
The bodiless slowly drifts into the maw of the maelstrom. Almost depleted. Nearly spent. Soon its purpose is fulfilled. This is the cradle of prime evil. As the ancient swirling mass begins to gnaw away at every ethereal nerve ending of the bodiless, its final offering is released in its full glory: the last light. Burning. Consuming. The grip on the entire realm withers away as the great whirlpool bellows in dying agony.

Galaxies Collide
As oozing wounds of ungodly matter bleed out and fade, space itself starts to crumble. Violently colliding with itself, tearing rifts in the very fabric of existence. The bodiless is pulled towards the dead black center of it all. The eye of the storm. Drifting to sleep. In peace. Flickering like a dying lantern.

Full Circle
The fail-safe. The curse. The testament. The bodiless is sucked into the deep at the center of the chaotic collapsing reality surrounding it. It is trying to draw breath. It is becoming. Images are rushing back like an unstoppable flood. There is flesh... One archaeologist and 49 brave men stand at the gates, staring down into the bowels of the mountain. It is time to begin the descent.

Brighton's ever-changing garage-psych powerhouse School Disco return with their latest offering Denton Rock. Recorded in Manchester through 2022, the record features their ever-present songwriter-in-chief Rory Lethbridge back on vocals and guitars, with a new line-up of musician pals around him.

On their new record, main man Rory said: ''’Denton Rock’ is an album I'm super proud of, with a whole new line-up we really got into a grooveplaying new songs and reimagining old ones live. We booked out a studio in Manchester that ourfriends have and we managed to get down 90% of the album in 3 days. We all really hit a groove andit was such a fun creative process with everyone down to get experimental and use the studios as abig playground. Some songs we had mastered before the studio, and some songs we finished in thestudio by playing around and jamming in a similar fashion to what we do live.I also reached out to a few friends and guests that really elevate the album with their contributions -Eva Lunny on harp adds such depth and Brennan Harvey's Alto Sax on Crying Beasts adds more forme than any guitar would. I feel we really took the DIY aesthetic that our first two albums have andelevated it further''.

Featuring their classic fuzzed-out style of heavy riff worship alongside catchy garage punk vocals, but with an expanded instrumental horizon this time around, as they add organs, synths and sax to the mix.

Nekromant is a Heavy Metal-trio from Sweden, forged between two mountains in their home village of Vargön which translates to Wolf Island. The band was first formed back in 2011 under the moniker Serpent, and have since then released three full length albums, drawing inspiration from Judas Priest, Grand Magus, Black Sabbath and Pentagram, to name a few.

Nekromant is, and has been for the last five years, one of the most active, powerful, tightest and prominent live bands within the Swedish underground scene. They have played more than 100 shows, which includes seven European tours and nearly every club and festival in Sweden worth mentioning.  

In 2020 the band signed a deal with Swedish label Despotz Records and are set to release their fourth album in 2021.

For more than a decade, When the Deadbolt Breaks have carved a niche for themselves within the interplay of extreme genres. They are no less at home in grind than they are in pummeling sludge or ambient soundscaping, casting forth triumphant riffs or proffering murder-dirge nods at a volume level that can only be considered violent. Led by guitarist/vocalist Aaron Lewis, their four to-date full-lengths read as a chronicle of threat that even unto the Connecticut-based outfit’s moniker tells of some lurking danger in the dark. Whether spanning a massive sprawl on 2016’s 2CD, Drifting Towards the Edge of the Earth, or casting a grim psychedelia on album number four, Angels are Weeping… God Has Abandoned…, When the Deadbolt Breaks are immediately recognizable in style and malice, and they continue to push forward into a filth and emotional disaffection of their own making.

Joined on Angels are Weeping… God Has Abandoned… by bassist/backing vocalist Mike Parkyn and drummer Randall Dumas, Lewis brings the three-piece through a cacophony of wretched cinematography. In the dug-in growls of “Sky Will Fall” or the victorious push of “Bloodborn,” Deadbolt make their home in a bleak, murky space that is as much atmosphere as it is impact. In the stretches of “Floyd’s Machine” or the deranged epilogue of closer “Color the Sun,” they expand on the scope set out at the beginning of the record on “Centering Through Isolation,” and the question isn’t so much how are you going to listen, but whether or not your turntable is going to survive the vibrating low end when you do.

As the latest installment of When the Deadbolt Breaks’ ongoing narrative, Angels are Weeping… God Has Abandoned… takes them to new depths and new heights, but by no means does it sound like they’re finished or relying on past laurels. Instead, expect them to keep growing and changing, because like that threat somewhere out in the woods at night, their shape is only ever what serves to terrify most at the moment.

Split, Croatia, Yugoslavia 1988. Dejan Katalenic ignites the Thrash Metal band Witchcraft. They quickly finish ten songs and record them, releasing seven of them early 1989 as a demo in ten copies.Nine of these tapes were according to legend send to western labels. The market for the music itself was there, but no Yugoslav record companies were allowed to release music with these kinds of lyrics at the time. One tape ended up in King Diamond’s possession providing influence for his 1990´s album The Eye. Another copy ended up influencing Sepulturas intro for their 1989 album classic Beneath the Remains. Not a bad result for 10 copies of Croatian Speed Metal. Unfortunately the band never heard back from any of the recipients of the demos. Fast forward a couple of years, the iron curtain drops and Withcraft lives on in various line ups over the years, but always led by Dejan Katalenic.Finally available in a well deserved proper format after 36 years.

Included in this new release are the three extra tracks recorded in the same session. So it’s kind of old, but at the same time brand new.

“I had just got off the road and went right into the studio out in the desert at Rancho de La Luna. I was living in the house just behind at the time making sessions super convenient. I was set to record with my band the Bros in a couple weeks but I decided to go into the Rancho early and get some sounds. Tony and I ended up recording a bunch of songs that I was writing on the fly. A week later the Bros showed up and we recorded another batch of songs with the band playing live in the front room. After we wrapped I combined both my solo session and the Bros session and released in as one record called Saved By Magic on my label Duna records. That was 2005.

Now I’m rereleasing this record on HPS and I’ve decided to separate the two sessions into their original bodies of work. My solo session and the Bros session. I mostly did this because I feel the Bros deserve to have something of their own as they were a magical band. I also just thought it would be cool. I call both records Saved By Magic Again.”

            Hailing from Pesaro, Italy, Warcoe drags classic doom into the abyss and back with Sabbathian weight, Saint Vitus’ raw gloom, and the swagger of Trouble’s golden-era riffage.
