Stone Nomads is an American Metal power trio based in Houston TX. The band, formed by Jon Cosky (Guitar/Vocals) and Jude Sisk (Bass/Vocals) in 2021, incorporates the sounds of early Doom Metal, modern Sludge Metal and all things heavy. Conceptually, the music explores the journey of life and death through the heavier and darker side of things, delivered via sludged-out, powerful riff-based sonics.
Influences range from Sabbath, Trouble and Candlemass to Crowbar, Conan, Obituary and all things in between. Stone Nomads have released 2 albums and 2 EP's, which have featured notable collaborations with both Esben Willems (Monolord), and vocalist Kyle Thomas (Exhorder, Trouble). The band has shared the stage with Soulfly, Crowbar, The Obsessed, Eyehategod, Bobby Liebling, Cirith Ungol, Khemmis, Spirit Adrift, Elder, Mothership, among others.
